The Wright Path home has room for five residents; two in the upstairs apartment and three in the ground floor unit. The house contains a kitchen, laundry room, bathrooms, bedrooms, a living room, and a large backyard. Three of our current residents are from the New Richmond community, who were in need of affordable residence. Our other two residents are from Grace Place, the Salvation Army Shelter, and had completed their stay there. Both individuals are working toward permanent housing placement.

Along with being easily affordable, staying at the Wright Path home gives residents the opportunity to save money for a security deposit and/or a first month’s rent. In addition to this, it also allows them to develop a rent history, which is necessary for renting elsewhere. There is no defined timeframe in which a resident is allowed to stay at the Wright Path home, but evidence of significant progress, such as a savings plan for rent or a safety security deposit, is necessary.
